Overthinking

This project focused on creating a hardground line etching piece with a bronze plate and a stencil. The topic of this piece was a personal focus on my struggles and difficulty with overthinking. To represent this feeling, I interpreted my work process as a large machine on my head capturing the overwhelming stress my overthinking puts on myself. I highlighted a sense of cross hatching across the piece while expanding the size and detail of the machine.
